Geographic Resume ViewBook Opportunities – Apply Now Through April 19
Are you interested in working in El Paso, New Mexico, or Midland/Odessa? Would you like to share your resume with employers and alumni in these areas? In an effort to aid students seeking employment in El Paso, New Mexico, and Midland/Odessa, the Career Center is inviting you to participate in a Resume ViewBook for these specific areas.
The Career Center gathers the resumes and career preference forms from participating students and makes them available through our protected Symplicity system, which can be accessed by our registered employers and alumni who have agreed to our non-discrimination policies. We will also present the Resume Viewbooks to our amazing alumni and other attorneys attending the Texas Tech Law CLE and Alumni Reception in El Paso on April 25th.
Should you choose to participate, you should update your professional Legal Resume and review it with Kayla or Saige. You must also prepare a Career Preference Form that indicates your practice area preferences. Please refer to the email from Kayla Wimberley for these forms.
To participate in the Resume ViewBook for either El Paso, New Mexico, or Midland/Odessa, you will need to log into your Symplicity account at: https://law-ttu-csm.symplicity.com/student with your email and password. We invite you to participate in these Resume ViewBooks, open Monday, April 8, through Friday, April 19.
Use this process:
1. To participate, upload your resume and Career Preference Form into your Symplicity account. The resume is uploaded as RESUME and the Career Preference Form is uploaded as COVER LETTER. A copy of the Career Preference Form is available on your Symplicity Account under Resources/Documents.
2. Then, click on the OCI tab to find the Graduate Resume ViewBook for the Geographic Location you are interested in.
3. APPLY.
