NELA’s Fight for Workers’ Rights Virtual Intro to the Plaintiffs’ Employment Bar

NELA’s Fight for Workers’ Rights Virtual Intro to the Plaintiffs’ Employment Bar

Join the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) for an inspiring and interactive conversation about the power of plaintiff-side employment law to drive progressive social change.

Experienced practitioners will share firsthand insights into the life of a workers’ rights advocate and how employment law intersects with broader movements for civil rights, gender equity, immigrant justice, and LGBTQ+ rights. Panelists will also highlight the diverse areas of practice within employment law and offer practical strategies for maximizing law school experiences—from course selection to internships.

Rooted in NELA’s mission to cultivate the next generation of workers’ rights advocates, this program invites law students and emerging attorneys to explore how a career in employment law offers a unique opportunity to champion justice, equity, and dignity in the workplace.
