I’m thrilled to announce the much-anticipated launch of MAX Madness on February 1!  This friendly competition between MAX-participating schools will determine which school’s students engage the most with the MAX program throughout February and March. The ‘final four’ school winners will receive $1,000 in scholarship funds to disburse, amazing hardware and, of course, bragging rights!

Here's how you can get involved:

• It’s not too late for your school to sign up and join the madness. So, let me know if you’re in!
• Encourage your students to participate in MAX activities and webinars to earn points for your school.
• Visit the MAX Madness Materials in the Communications Toolkit for the flyer (also attached), digital boards, weekly sample emails you can send to your students, and more. Remember to customize and send the first one (included below for your convenience) sometime this week to let your students know how to participate!

Additionally, here are some important updates and resources:

• We are excited to announce a new partnership with Equal Justice Works, a nonprofit focused on public service legal careers, to further the goals of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Coalition.
• Read the latest posts from the Law and Money blog series, including "Tax Tips for New Associates" and "Top Five Financial Planning Tips for Law Students Entering the New Year".

Dear [Law School Name] Students,

MAX Madness 2025 is coming! This friendly competition among law schools will run from February 1 through March 31 and will challenge you to engage with MAX by AccessLex^® by completing online personal finance lessons and attending webinars or on-campus workshops.

[Law School Name] will earn points for the lessons you complete and the events you attend. And YOU will earn entries into the MAX Grand Prize Scholarship drawing on April 1, when six students will each win a $25,000 scholarship and three students will each win a $40,000 scholarship.

At the end of the competition, the top four schools with the most points, our 'Final Four,' will receive a $1,000 scholarship, some hardware, and bragging rights to celebrate their victory. And don’t forget, you could win a scholarship. Definitely a WIN-WIN!

Call to Action: Start out on offense by completing your first online lesson in MAX today and attending any webinar or on-campus workshop this week or next!
