Moot Court Brief Writer Tryouts

If you’re interested in serving as a brief writer for one of our nationally ranked moot court teams, please submit the 

following to Professor Rob Sherwin (robert.sherwin@ttu.edu) by Friday, June 20, at 11:59 p.m:

 

1. Any persuasive writing sample. This could be your trial brief or appellate brief from your 1L Legal Practice class, 

or, for those of you who are rising 3Ls, a motion or brief you wrote in another class or at work. Whatever you submit,

it needs to be YOUR work -- do not send a version as edited by your boss or LP professor.

 

2. If you entered the Journal write-on competition, your case note.

 

3. The completed online application, which you can find here: https://forms.office.com/r/BWBpEhS0z2. You do not 

need to complete it again if you already did so for oralist/mock trial/negotiation tryouts.

 

4. The completed expectations agreement, which you can find here:
