Apply Now to be a Dean's Community Teaching Fellow for 2017-18

Why be a Dean's Community Teaching Fellow? You get to be involved with the Law and Justice Magnet Program and:

  • Regularly assist Mr. Chavez (the LJMP faculty member) in classroom duties (teaching, team teaching, and small group work)
  • Act as coaches for the LJMP's mock trial and Skills USA competition teams
  • Present as guest speakers for the classes in the LJMP
  • Work in small group or one-on-one with LJMP students in a mentoring capacity as logistics permit
  • Participate in other law-related EHS and community events

Please note that DCTF positions are for two semesters (Fall 2017 and Spring 2018) and are unpaid. You do have the option of enrolling in Independent Research credits (2 credits in the spring semester under Dr. Jarmon’s supervision of a paper) and of using some of your service hours toward the pro bono graduation requirement.

If you have any questions, please contact Dean Jarmon at amy.jarmon@ttu.edu.
