VetStar has a great volunteer opportunity this coming Wednesday, 6/29 from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Below is the data from VetStar regarding the project:
"We have an elderly Veteran who could benefit from some community support in a major way.
The individual in need is a Korean war Era Veteran who was born in 1930, and he has no living relatives other than a older brother who lives in Montana. At the spry young age of 86 years old this Veteran rides his bicycle everywhere and everyone in his neighborhood knows who he is and tries to look out for him. Unfortunately like most Veterans he will not ask for help and is very independent despite his mounting health concerns.
The good news is that we will be are going to help clean up his property and make some minor repairs on the 29th. The Veteran's address is, 2704 Colgate and we will work from 0800 to 1200."
