Career Services is preparing a Diversity Resume Book to target employers at upcoming events. You are invited to submit your resume and Career Preference Form for this Resume Book on Symplicity. Bidding closes Sunday, February 14 at midnight. Participants in this Diversity Resume Book should be mindful of the definition for participation:
The Texas Tech Law Diversity Resume Book includes the credentials of self-selected students and recent graduates who identify as diverse or who have a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and community.
To Participate in a Resume Book:
1. Login to Texas Tech Law School Symplicity: https://law-ttu-csm.symplicity.com/students.
2. Click on the [OCI] tab on the top navigation bar.
3. Filter the session list by selecting [Diversity Resume Book 2016] from the [Session] drop-down menu
4. Click “Review” for employer “Resume Book.” You will be redirected to a page that explains information about the position and what materials you will select for your participation.
5. Under “Bid Details” on the right-hand side of the webpage, select the documents you wish to include in your application. *** Upload your Career Preference Form in the Cover Letter category.
o You must have already uploaded these documents under the “My Documents” tab on the top navigation bar.
6. Click “Apply”
Use The Career Preference Form as a “Cover Letter” upload in Symplicity. The Career Preference Form allows you to specify your individual job interests and it allows plenty of space for you to describe your special attributes. Traditional cover letters are NOT appropriate for resume book marketing. Please submit your Preference Form instead. The Career Preference Form can be found on the Resources Tab in Symplicity.
