On Thursday, May 28, 2015, Telecommunications will be performing the following activities:
ATLC Communications Facility Network Infrastructure Upgrade
Network Operations Center personnel will upgrade network infrastructure hardware within the ATLC Communications Facility. The following services will experience a brief interruption during this time:
• eRaider Web Sign-In
• Domain Name System (DNS)
• Dynamic Host Configuration (DHCP)
• Remote Access Service (Wireless, PCI, and VPN)
• TechMail
• TTU.EDU & TTU.NET Windows domain services
• Lync Phone & Messaging Services
• University Call Center
• Campus Software Download
• eRaider Account Management System (eRAMS)
Impact:
At approximately 12:30 AM, a 30-minute service interruption will occur while equipment is reconfigured. Following this, several 5 minute interruptions will occur as network routes converge.
Internet service and service to the University Data Center will not be affected.
Schedule of Maintenance:
The maintenance window is scheduled as follows:
• Start Time: Thursday, May 28, 2015 12:00 AM Central
• Stop Time: Thursday, May 28, 2015 4:00 AM Central
