Equal Justice Works Internship & Fellowship Opportunity Updates

Equal Justice Works has several opportunities for internships and fellowships with deadlines rapidly approaching.

1. Immigrant Children’s Defense Corps, justices AmeriCorps Initiative Administered by Equal Justice Works, host sites are still accepting applications. I believe the program still hopes to have fellows in the field by December 1. You can find information about this program at www.joinjusticeamericorps.org.

2. EJW has launched a Huffington Post blog: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/equal-justice-works/how-public-service-loan-f_b_6123302.html.

3. The deadline for EJW Fellowships proposals focused on animal law issues anywhere in the country or partnered with Texas Access to Justice Foundation grantees as host organizations has been extended to December 1 at 5 p.m. ET. The following information from EJW’s November 18 email is included for your convenience::
If you plan to apply with an animal law project or a project based at a TAJF grantee organization or if you have any questions, please notify fellowships@equaljusticeworks.org
The only proposals submitted during this extended period that will be considered for fellowships are those that address animal law issues or have TAJF grantees as the host organization. No determinations have been made on any previously submitted applications (before the Sept. 17 deadline), which currently are in the process of review.
Students who have a previous relationship or are interested in working with any of the organizations below should visit our website and consider applying.
