Please join us in the second Energy Law Series speaker on October 27, 2014 at noon in the Lanier Auditorium. Carlos Ortiz, Director of Information and Energy Services with Mexico’s Ministry of Energy, will be speaking on the significant, recent changes to Mexico’s Constitution, which now permit foreign investment and partnership in Mexico’s domestic oil-and-gas industry. Mr. Ortiz will discuss the enacting statutes that have been passed and the new legal environment that ends 76 years of a nationalized monopoly in the oil-and-gas business.
