Paid Positions Available as Student Notetakers

The law school needs student notetakers to take class notes in selected law school courses for the Spring 2013 semester. Interested individuals must be currently enrolled in the selected course(s), be good notetakers, and be willing to promptly submit the class notes on a weekly basis. The notetaking positions are paid positions. The positions are open to students enrolled in at least one of the following courses: Section 2 1L Courses; Evidence (Benham); Commercial Law (Krahmer); Evidence (Watts); Income Tax (James); Commercial Litigation; Family Law; Oil and Gas II; Criminal Procedure (Myhra); Professional Responsibility (Spain); Business Entities (Pawlowic); Accounting for Lawyers; Advanced Income Taxation; Real Property Finance Transactions; Securities Regulation; Business Entities (Casto); Intellectual Property Crimes. Other courses may be available in the future.


Interested students should contact Associate Dean Jarod Gonzalez, jarod.gonzalez@ttu.edu, via e-mail message no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1. As part of the e-mail, please attach your resume, a sample of notes that you have taken from a law school course, and list all of the law school courses that you are enrolled in for the Spring 2013 semester.  Associate Dean Gonzalez will review the information and will contact you if you are under consideration for a notetaker position.
